Historic Collection of Indian Artifacts
These beautiful creations by the famous Environmentalist, American Indian Artifact Collector and Historian Ralph Space, Creator of Space Farms Museum and Zoo, founded in 1927.
They were acquired by me from his son, Fred Space about 35 years ago when they needed to raise funds for renovations after a tornado hit their farm. I have treasured them ever since. So significant, appreciated and recognized are these frames for their historical importance, I have had some of them displayed in the Museum on Amelia Island, FL. These are the only known frames ever to have been sold to a private collector.
But now it is time to share them with others who appreciate a fantastic collection of authenticated Indian artifacts from many hundreds and thousands of years ago.
Three of the frames are personally signed by Ralph Space on the back and list each item in the frame: Arrowheads, Shell Beads, Bone Tools, Tusks, Spear Points, Celts, Pestle, etc. Stories surround the frame with the exceptionally large axe. Could it prove that giants, like BigFoot lived among the Indians? Ralph along with Rufus Pickle and Robey Maiden personally collected each piece starting in 1920’s and his son said that Ralph created the artful arrangements himself. Each is truly a unique piece of art with a collection of historical significance.
