Situated on the banks of the River Teith and with Ben Ledi as its backdrop, Callander is known as one of Scotland’s best loved gateways to the highlands. The A84, which runs through its centre, is a main route into Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park where there is scope for every sort of outdoor activity from cycling in the Queen Elizabeth Forest, to fishing or boating on lochs Katrine and Venacher to name a few, as well as climbing local hills such as Ben Ledi, Ben Venue and Ben A’an, or renting shooting or stalking on nearby estates.
Stirling is only about 19 miles away and is the historic heart of Scotland, with Stirling Castle, Bannockburn and the Wallace Monument just a few of the many sights to visit in the local area. Stirling is well placed for road, rail and bus connections to all the major towns in Scotland. Both Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are within easy reach and there are train stations at Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Dunblane, with regular services to both cities. Stirling has a good selection of shops including Waitrose.

By removing the bolt cap covers from the siderails, allows the steel bolts to be accessed to be un-screwed to dismantle the four-poster bed. The headboard and roof dismantle into two sections and the front posts can be unscrewed from the footboard if necessary.
This 18th century style English four poster bed is accentuated with style, romance and tradition. The impression created by this bed will without doubt be a memorable one as they are genuinely unique and recreate the

The oak four poster bed boasts a rich warm red and brown oak traditional colour, having been cleaned and wax-polished by hand in our workshop. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
This bed is not to be confused with other four-poster beds of lesser quality in the market place today. This bed is handmade from early English oak timbers (hence the rich warm colour). The design, build quality and superstructure (thickness of panels) are of superior and exceptional quality. It is an extremely heavy bed!

This old telephone has been stripped, cleaned, and polished to remove decades of dirt and grime, and has two vintage style Edison LED lights with old style spiral filaments producing a lovely warm glow. A smart and extremely well made pair of antique mahogany military campaign style bedside chests with leather tops. They were made in England, and date from around the 1930’s. The quality is outstanding, they are beautifully designed and are a great size. The mahogany has a gorgeous colour tone and patina, offset nicely by the brass fixtures and handles. The leather tops have a gorgeous green colour tone, with blind tooling around the edges. They stand on bracket feet and have lots of storage space inside the generous drawers. The backs of the cabinets are nicely finished in mahogany, so they could be used as free standing items.
We have had them recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age.
