Superb Hepplewhite Style Full Tester King-size Bed

This is an unusual piece it has a attractive curved and upholstered tester with eye-catching hand panted panels depicting charming young ladies, the paint work has been restored but maintains its original crackle finish.
At The foot of the bed the posts are fine quality mahogany delicately fluted and turned with an upholstered head board at the head end
The drapes, valance and the canopy are old and authentic but it would be a fairly straight forward piece to re do in your own choice of fabric.
The bed has been extensively restored to bring it into working condition so this is more of a decorative usable piece than an authentic antique, it is a good sturdy piece.
The bed dismantles for ease of transport it comes with a 2 piece divan base and requires only a mattress to complete it
The overall measurements of the bed are 84” long, 70” wide, the canopy is 96” high at the centre

Unique Pair Of Brass Lamps With Alabaster Shades - US $450.00

This matched pair of lamps both have well made solid brass bases. The alabaster shades light up nicely and are in great condition with no damage. They have been rewired with cloth covered cord and are operated with in-line switches. The shades are 5 inches wide, the bases are 4 inches wide at the bottom and the lamps are 13 inches tall all together. 




Kittinger Hepplewhite Bowback Mahogany Inlaid Sofa Osborn & Little Federal - $3,023

Early Kittinger Bowback sofa in hepplewhite style. Upholstered in Osborn & Little earthy green and gold fabric with nailhead trim. Made from mahogany with tapered and inlaid legs. The graceful lines rely on a subtle sophisticated form which is not overpowering, but beautifully shaped with rear legs that have a very nice outward cant. Note the delicately arched back, which continues to roll down through to the end of the arms, which then turn in to the seat frame.

A late 18th century George III period French Hepplewhite armchair, having an overstuffed oval back and seat, the mahogany arms of scrolling form, all standing on finely carved cabriole legs.

Although originally intended for use in a grand salon, this piece would also work well as a desk chair in a modern day home.

18th Century American Hepplewhite Wing Chair - $4,680

Who would not be attracted to the sculptural outlines of this beautiful American Hepplewhite wing chair circa 1790? Excellent cover in period style silk damask . The maker drew artful, curving outlines to each element of this chair. The crest and wings all take serpentine form above horizontally scrolled arms flanking a down cushion over square tapered, Hepplewhite legs. Each front leg is outlined in line inlay with are and most desirable inlaid husk forms at center on walnut.
