The Château de Cornod is a Gothic Revival château in Cornod, Jura, Franche-Comté, France, A 13th century castle, located 1 hour from Geneva and 1 hour and 15 minutes from Lyon. Dating from the 13th century, and completely restored from 1875 to 1882, then, more recently, from 2002 to 2007, it is one of the most beautiful restorations in Europe in recent years. The property covers 130 hectares, including 80 hectares of classified grounds, including 7500 m2 of covered buildings. The estate includes the castle with 24 rooms, numerous fireplaces, decoration and furniture from the Renaissance period or in the Renaissance style.
