Menotomy (American Revolution)

 The fighting around Foot Of the Rocks in modern Arlington (then called Menotomy) as Brig. Gen Hugh Earl Percy leads the combined British forces (Lt. Col. Francis Smith’s corps of light infantry and Grenadier companies and Percy’s own 1st Brigade) back to Boston following the actions at Lexington and Concord.
