Marijuana

Facebook used to be a wonderful place to express your thoughts and how you feel about an issue. I just received a message from you about Marijuana and Cancer post I made. I have been on facebook off and on since Mark Zuckerberg found it while he was in college. I have watched your company evolve from a laid back platform to express ones self to a walking callus INSTITUTE. My Mother died from Cancer, and if there had been ANYTHING we could have done to save her we would have done it.  Please do clarify for me. Am I no longer able to share my Opinion on MY FACEBOOK page? without out being told by a random computer that I am sharing Misinformation?  Or is the freedom to share ideas and personal beliefs which the last time I checked was protected under the U.S. Constitutions first amendment in the Bill of Rights. No longer protected on Facebook which according t o Language in Packingham v. North Carolina, heard by the Supreme Court of the United States, seems to suggest, without explicitly stating, that Facebook would be characterized as a traditional public forum.Jul 27, 2021. If your company stays on its current course of "Fact Checking" you will only sink deeper into legal issues.  When Facebook used to be such a neutral and safe place to feel comfortable expressing ones self. These restrictions put in place by Facebook even though it is a private company will only cause the Governments of the world to regulate Facebook more and More. I imagine now you will put me in facebook jail or impose some other form of retribution on me, but at least I have expressed my beliefs in how I am being treated by your company. Yours Chris McLaughlin
